MARENER Industries NL was contracted to complete a multi-scope alongside refit on the CCG MV Grenfell. The scope of work included electrical installations, testing and repair of switchgear components, mechanical overhaul of the anchor windlass and main engine clutches, piping replacement, structural floor replacements, and the installation of two life raft launching devices with support structure. MARENER successfully completed the scheduled work, as well as over 40 additional work-scopes, on time and on budget with no loss time accidents or safety incidents.
In addition to this project, MARENER Industries has successfully completed over 30 major scopes of work for the Canadian Coast Guard over the past 10 years including numerous annual refit and repair projects to their Atlantic Canadian fleet.
