MARENER Engineered Systems was contracted to supply an offshore boom deployment system consisting of a 1.2 meter freeboard self-inflating boom, a large hydraulic boom reel and a Lamor LPP200 power pack. The system enables the inflatable boom to be effectively deployed within minutes as an emergency containment system in the case of an offshore oil spill.
