MARENER Industries was contracted by Kiewit to perform numerous repairs to the permanent pile structures on the Weeks-Sandwell designed berth structure at the Canaport LNG Terminal in St. John, NB. MARENER’s certified tradepeople and weld inspectors mobilized onsite and ran the appropriate weld procedure and welder testing for the API 5L X65 heavy wall pipe and successfully performed all repairs ahead of schedule and with a 0% repair rate.
In addition, MARENER Engineered Systems was contracted to provide the quick release mooring hooks for the berths.
