Marener Engineered Systems has teamed up with Innovative Infrastructure Solutions Canada (IISC) to promote an innovative alternative to traditional concrete or steel beams/girders. The Hybrid Composite Beam (HCB) offers all of the strength and capacity of traditional pre-cast concrete or steel beams, with a design life of 100+ years, and an installation weight that is only 10% of concrete and 30% of steel. The hybrid composite components of the HCB allow use of concrete and steel in a more efficient manner and protect them from corrosion and the outside elements.
